Truwood cabinets are an all
wood framed set of stock cabinets. The cabinets come in Birch, Maple, Oak,
Indonesian Hevea wood and Thermofoil. The
construction is all plywood, 1/2" ends, kick and rails, 1/4" back panel, 3/4" front frame and 5/8"
shelves. Most lines come standard with box drawers and epoxy guides which can be upgraded
to dovetail drawers. Truwood has a limited selection of styles,
stains and glazes, but for the price they represent an excellent value. Truwood also has 5
value lines (4 wood, 1 thermofoil) that are priced similar to the Chinese generic brands. They
also carry a HUD severe use approved cabinet line. Truwood's selection of moldings, flutes
and other decorative
items, as well as their ability to customize the cabinets are limited. Truwood cabinets come
with a 1 year limited warranty.
