Fabuwood, makes 2 different lines of all wood cabinets.
Their value line, which is described here, features doors in Oak or Birch with
all plywood construction and dovetail drawers with epoxy guides.
The selection of cabinet types is somewhat limited but there are some customization options (like increasing the
depth or adding a full extension guide with soft close). These are generic cabinets that are pre-made in China
and assembled here, but in my opinion, are a notch above your typical Chinese cabinets.
For the price, though, they represent our best value and can be delivered in 1 to 2 weeks.
The value line offers a raised panel door in both standard or full overlay in 5 different colors.
Below are pictures of the two styles. Check out the fabuwood website for more information, and for prices
please call or email. These cabinets are priced similar to Home Depot's American Classics line, however,
fabuwood uses plywood boxes (not particle board), has dovetail drawers (not box ones) and the ends are finished
(you do not need to add a skin to them). Below is a price comparison between Home Depot's American Classics and Fabuwood:
Kitchen Layout: (7 cabinets) 18" 3 drawer base, 36" sink base, 24" base, 18" x 30" wall, 36" x 12" wall (2),
24" x 30" wall, toe kick cover, scribe molding (2)
Fabuwood Landmark - $982, Fabuwood Hallmark - $1,082, Home Depot -
$1,207.34
Note that the home depot price includes shipping, whereas my price assumes you are going to pick up the cabinets from
my office (I only offer local shipping) .
